The “M” Word
“Well, that is what you get when you call Art a ‘mime’ or the ‘M’ word.”
We all have those scenes in horror films that juts STICK with us. For the Terrifier Franchise I felt it was literally scene after scene after scene, that was until Allie opened up the door to a rather unusual trick-or-treater. If you have seen Terrifier 2, you know what happens I don’t need to go into detail. (You’re welcome) As the scene drags on in the most horrendous ways, we think we get our break as Art runs out of the room. Yet, we are met with more terror as he comes back (giddy) that he found bleach and salt, and shows his finds (giddy, again) to Allie.
I have never been so raw after a horror movie scene, so knew that when we did our Terrifier Episode that I had to pair a strong drink with the scene that gave me nightmares for months. I knew instantly that I wanted to do a play on a salty dog (because salt, duh) but was not sure how to get the grapefruit to run clear. Enter in a bar trick that sends shivers down many a spines. Clarification!
I mean, this is perfect, a bit of a gross and disgusting bar method to go with a gross and disgusting scene. Stick with me on this though, because unlike the movie, this actually makes your drink better! The trick is you want room temperature milk, and you want to pour your cocktail into the milk. Not the other way around. Let it sit as long as you can. I think I did about 4 hours and there is only a slight pink hue to the cocktail, it’s baiscally clear.
If you try this, please let me know!
